The MOMS Club of Coastal Delaware seeks child-centered, certified non-profit status organizations located in Sussex County to apply to receive funds from our annual Consignment Sale. Organizations such as the Greenwood Baby Pantry, The Children’s Beach House, Read Aloud Delaware, Sussex County Parents as Teachers, Seaford House, Sussex County Foster Parents Association, Primeros Pasos Early Learning Center and the Dakota McLamb Memorial Fund have been recipients in the past. Charitable funds available are based on a percentage of gross sales of the event. In 2015, $5,400 was given to the recipient organization.
We are now accepting applications for our 2016 beneficiary. Organization must have 501(c) non-profit status. Funds must be used to benefit children in Sussex County, DE. The MOMS Club of Coastal DE requests the presence of the selected organization(s) at the annual Consignment Sale as volunteers and also present an informational table about their organization(s). Any selected beneficiary will also be included in our subsequent press releases and advertisements. Each application is reviewed to ensure that the organization qualifies and that it meets MOMS Club International guidelines. The MOMS Club of Coastal Delaware has the right to reject any application that does not meet our guidlelines for donation. The selected organization(s) is chosen by a vote of our club membership and all organizations who submitted applications will be notified.
